I never noticed this, probably because I didn't have an xB the first couple times I saw the movie Cars, but I just watched it again and noticed that DJ looks like a Scion xB... I'm sure the 1st Gen owners already know all about this Wink

Too made they made it such a ricer! maybe it was inevitable, but they could have done witout that wing!

If you look at the door and the back side windows you can see that it kind of looks like a truck with a box cover... and an xB... doesn't really seem to be modeled after anything conventional entirely though..

yeah I new that and I think it is if it was a 2 dr car instead of  a 4 dr.  any who good looking out..

All the ricers in that section of the film are over-the-top.  Wingo, Boost, and Snot Rod are stereotyped characterizations . . . that is part of the joke there.


It does look like an xB, but could also be a number of other cars.  Most of the Cars cars are based on real stuff, some VERY closely.  Others are not (like MacQueen himself).
