well no matter how good the wheel covers looked, i had to send them back. Currently there are no wheel covers (hubcaps) available for an 08 XB that I have been able to locate. Anyone have any suggestions?

I bought her a month ago, and I have almost 1k on her.
So far I've removed the a-pillar tape, and I installed the rear bumper protector.

SHAN,

I had to send the wheel covers back as they didn't fit right, they were for an older XB so there was about a 1/4" gap between the cover and the rim. They were unaware that the rims on the 08 were different from the older years, closest estimate to have some that will fit the 08 is 6 months to a year. I already found some nice looking rims though. What sucks is that I really liked the way the wheel covers looked.

jst put in some pads in all the drink holders and other pockets to include to shelf above the glove box and the ledge near the speedo. These things work great, stuff doesn't rattle around anymor nor does it slide. they are also surprisingly cheap. I got them on e-bay, the seller is "pads plus" If anyone is interested and wants more info, let me know.

my universal covers stick out about 1/4-ive been over 85 and they havent left me yet-lol

I know this is off topic, but I needed the emotional support and I KNOW the folks here will understand, more then anyone else on the planet....

The treacherous road of New York never fails to disappoint.........  440 was parked and still some truck backed up into it.  The only good news is I have called the insurance company and filed a police report, the other party admitted their fault as well, so hopefully 440 will be back to her old self soon.

hey rosconey, thats about how far mine stuck out. I emailed the company and they strongly suggested that i didn't run them. I found a real nice set of rims, so, I guess things worked out for me. Heres a pic



The only thing I'm considering is to change the black to gold, but that wouldn't be till winter. I think I'll play around with paint shop and ee how they will look.

I'm so sorry!  I'm glad it wasn't me because I very well may be in jail right now.  You're a strong person.  At least your ride wasn't sent on fire by the dealer like in that other thread...
