I just bought my new 2009 xB (last left over in all of SE) over the internet from Hoover Scion in Alabama. Flew in to Birmingham from SW Florida and dealership picked me up at airport. Did the walk around, test drive and paperwork in about an hour and hit the road for the 800 mile trip home. It is Classic Silver, with Manual, fog lights, upgrade radio and security, spoiler, enbrei wheels BRAC. Love the looks, not as comfortable as my 02 Hyundai Elantra GT. Not as good on gas either, best was about 28.3 mpg with easy varied driving on the interstate following break-in rules. Also, I am not sure if the car is aligned right. It was a chore to drive constantly correcting as the car wouldn't track straight. It was like driving a horse team on a buckboard. My Hyundai is one finger driving with rarely a need for correction and that is with 131K miles and never needed an alignment. I hope this all improves as I'm not sure I made a great decision here.

mine does the same thing!  it pulls slightly to one side.  i'm getting it realigned soon though, after i put my springs in

Chief52,

Where in SW Florida....I'm in Cape Coral...I've had my xB out on US75 speed limit plus 5 mph and did not notice any tracking problems...you have a great sounding xB and I sure that you will like it just fine.

Marco Island. I am hoping it grows on me, I can't believe I have such an attachment to a 7 year old car. I've put a FOR SALE sign on it and get all kinds of calls but almost everyone asks what's the lowest price I'll take, even before they sit in the car or drive it. And of course everyone wants to ask a grand off the asking price from the get go....I just tell them get the f--- out of here!  Sorry, I'm a little cranky, haven't been out of the house since I got back with the xB as I came down with the flu.

I'm not far from I-20 either . . .
Just 1,000 or so miles east.

Quick isn't the same as fast . . .
Fast is just acceleration and top speed.
Quick is maintaining that speed in a corner, better than just fast.
The xB is QUICK!

The only time my xB deviates from its path is on the open road in windy conditions.  It is, after all, a box on wheels.

Most of the Firestone dealers in the midwest have a lifetime wheel alignment package for under $200.  Friend of mine has his Miata with coilovers aligned about 5 times during the summer for different drives and autocrossing.

So i have a 2008 Scion XB. My fiance was driving to work yesterday mourning and all of a sudden the back window shattered. She was on the free way traveling 55 to 60 miles an hour. I went and picked up the vehicle and took it to the dealership and they immediately told me that it wasnt covered under warranty. they told me that a rock or something hit it. I honestly dont think that a rock can hit that back window and shatter it. with the angle of the window and the speed. the car has a rear spoiler that is mainly for looks. but i know that it has to be sending a stream of air down that back end of her car right against the window. the dealer told me that if the door or window flexed at all that the glass would have blown out. but i talked  to some people and they claim that it would have created a vacume either way it was hit, from the inside or outside. They also told me that this would have happened the first day we drove it off the light not 22,000 miles later. but i also disagree with this because opening and closing that back door a thousand or so times we have had the car could have shifted something i think. I also think that they might be using a less quality glass or something because i have been reading about a lot of cracked windshields, which we have also had. ive had to replace it once and filled two or three cracks now. I have never got a crack on my truck or anything. what the hell is wrong with this car.
anyone else have a problem with their back window? What do you think i should do? bug the dealer or just get it fixed myself?

thanks

That's good talking. As its name suggests, fog light helps visibility in the fog. Actually these lights are used in car and truck for safe driving. This light is a must have for anyone to drive safely in the night. It can also be helpful to drive against heavy rain, fog or snow.
