This is my first scion. Before owning a scion (I’m a 3 week owner to a 08 xB) I owned vw’s. When my husband and I first started dating he had an xB. I fell in love with the car, but he had to sadly sell it because he needed a truck to pull an RV we ended up buying. I finally got sick of paying so much in gas money/insurance for my 07 vw passat wagon turbo so we traded it in for an xB. I have owned it for 3 weeks now and have no regrets. It’s so much fun to drive.!

As my husband said on the drive home from the dealer “it feels good to be back in a box!”  Tongue

My sister had a vw passat wagon and she has two kids. When we had our daughter, we were looking into getting that car, because I saw that it was a good car for a family, but then a friend of mine, who also has two kids, showed me her 08 xB and I went out the next week and bought mine! I love it and I an so happy I chose it vs the vw passat wagon! I have heard that it isn't the best wagon on the market as far as gas in concerned!

This is my first scion and my first brand new car. In August I traded in my 2000 subaru outback for a black sand pearl 2009 scion xB. Due to weather and a trucker's strike, I had three agonizing weeks until it arrived but it's been completely worth it! I had been loyal to subaru through my last three cars, owning an impreza, a forester, and an outback and finally with my last car, I felt that it was time to change.  I have a five year old daughter and wanted a safe inexpensive car with a hatchback yet something that felt a little sporty. My boyfriend, who owns a '08 tC, turned me onto the new xBs and after checking them out at the dealership, i was in love. (still missing my sunroof though) I couldn't afford to go fancy with any accessories but I'm completely satisfied with the standard features. Maybe in the future....

Good for you and welcome!  BSP is a very nice color.  I did alot of research before deciding on our 1st new car and Scion xB was the only one I couldn't find much negative written about it.  The almost 4 year old grand daughter played a huge part in our decision also.  Safety was important and price was next.  We actually bought the vehicle for the grand daughter but we let her mom drive it. lol

Just got a 2009 Blue XB automatic. Love it. Great around town car. It has more room than most cars. Easy to get in with my bad leg. The grand daughter has a 2008 XB manual shift. I got to drive it and fell in love with the car...

Howdy td33!  Isn't it amazing how spacious the xB feels when your inside?  Then when I'm outside looking at it I wonder how come it looks so small! LOL  It's an optical illusion.  Hey!  Theres an idea for a license plate, OPT ILL

I just got my first Xb, '09.  I love the thing!  Before my husband passed away, we looked at them when they first came out... but there wasn't enough trunk space for a stroller...lol  But I just got mine Saturday and I LOVE it!! My oldest daughter (5) loves the Blackberry Crush color.. I have to drop my baby off next week to get all the goodies installed. Glad I found this site!

I had an 06 in Salsa Red.
It wasn't easy trading it in, trust me.
But I love the 09 now. I was a diehard boxer at first, until I saw the 09 up close.

Blackberry Crush was our daughters choice but since we are paying for it we got what I wanted, Stingray metallic.  But we still like the looks of the Blackberry crush.  The names cool too.  Congrats and Welcome!!!
