Hey all,
I was under the impression that the make is SCION and the model is xB.  But, on some of my paperwork (including the extended warranty from Toyota), it is listed as MAKE: TOYOTA and MODEL: SCION XB.

So... which is it?  Or... does it even matter?

I think my paperwork says the same thing. I think it is a Toyota Scion, but I have been known to be wrong a time or 2......LOL

My guess is because the VIN starts with JT, J=Japan T=Toyota.

It's just a Toyota Scion on paperwork because it is manufactured by toyota and scion's less known in many places so to clarify they just call it a toyota scion xb... or a toyota scion tc

In 1980, I purchased Toyota's first front wheel drive car known as a Tercel.  Toyota wanted people to feel good about the new car model , so they through in the Corolla name.  Later they dropped the Corolla name from the side fender after the car became familiar to the public.

So I believe that we have a Toyota Scion xB, it's a Toyota!
