I can't find the thread on MPGS, know I saw one on here. That's the way it is when you get old.
I filled the XBox yesterday  and it got 31.04 mpg on the first full tank, 171.7 miles took 5.531 gallons.
That is 80% or more city driving. I am tickled with my new car.

Secrets!!!!

Area flat? Low traffic flow? Drive like an old man lol rofl! drafting every car and truck in town?

That is a great first tank. I average 27.4 mostly h'way and always look for ways to get better.
Share your thoughts for a world of better MPG's! Cheesy

I congratulated you somewhere on your purchase and just want to do that again. yes

That is impressive.  My first 1k was low mpg, but my BbCM has settled in on 28-30 in mixed driving.  I think my computer is about 1-2 mpg too high.  It said 33 mpg after a 320 mile trip at 50-65 mph and I still had about 1/8th of a tank left.

That's great!  I'm at 25 after 2500 miles, but I haven't done any long trips...just running around town.  And I love to pass people!  Tongue

Yep, drive like an old man cause I am one. Pretty much flat terrain. longest trip I made was about 40 miles rest was 5 to 10 mile trips. No drafting, traffic moderate.
I keep thinking I have figured something wrong, we'll see next time.

they are predicting 15-20 cents rise this weekend!!  my local 76 station went from 4.39 to 4.49 over night!  i knew i should have fueled up last night!

hey Ole Dummy

that is great mileage - i get 22 mpg in town w/ all city driving but we have a lot of traffic lights and i tend to do a lot of short trips where i live so you can never really get going - i can get ~25-26 mpg in my commute alone on streets [~14 miles one way]

22 mpg is what is advertised for the xB so i feel good when i am getting more  Cheesy

I'm usually the one to gas up our cars & on our trip this weekend my wife saw the gas prices... she didn't know we broke $4.00 yet & one fill up was at $4.47. Needless to say she wasn't happy w/ the $58 to fill up the Camry w/ 1/4 tank left. I'm really getting more use out of the new widget I added to the site here:
http://newscionxb.com/gasprices.php

and of course there's http://www.GasBuddy.com
