No not really. However if you start going to Scion VIP events they just give you the stuff. I got tons of shirts, hats, even scored a Colmen tent with the scion logo on it.

Here is the place to go for scion VIP events www.scionvip.combasically they hold VIP events all over the the USA. Check there website for were they are going to be. In fact there is one coming to MA at the sixflags there. Its called scion dream night. They are taking 400 people. Basically you register and if they pick your car your in. Most events don't fill up so they take everyone that registers but some do fill up. So scion dream night consists of a car show in the parking lot and free diner, with plenty of free swag. Then after night fall when they close the park to regular guests, they are opening the park to the 400 scion owners and their guests. Thats right, the only people in the park for the night are Scion owners. I just double checked to see whats going on and I found that their is another show in October in NJ. So I will probalby register for that. You get all kinds of things. Key chains, Hats, flipflops, T-shirts. The camping tents were for the campout. There will be another one next year so keep a look out for it. The events are always 100% free to everyone that is accepted, this includes food and drinks as well.

Ok I just looked into the NJ VIP. I can't go because of the date. But here is the list of what you get.
"Invited owners will receive:
Admittance for owner and a guest to Formula X event Classroom instruction by professional racers On track instruction with professional racers Participation in a Scion VIP-only car show category Catered lunch in the Scion VIP lounge Free gifts and more "

I don't see anything for the Midwest - one for Colorado a year ago (which I consider CO to be more West anyhow), but nothing else. Apparently you have to be on the Coasts to be of any interest to Scion.

Well what you need to do is start sending messages to Urbanracer and let him know your ineterested. Maybe he can help suggest what needs to be accomplished to get events in the midwest. As long as you can drum up interest with other owners they will definatly create events for them.

I think you can sign onto them for email updates so you don't miss out. I usually know about them in my area before they are posted, just because I happen to know some people, that know some people, that know whats going on in the scion world.

I love the tent just because it fits my whole Surfer life theme of being outdoors and camping, surfing ect.

Wish I could get you one, but they were real strickt about a 1 tent per scion policy. We had a campout this saturday night with just a few friends, nothing club related. However we all had attended so we all set up our scion tents. was pretty cool.
