There is no scion specific kit. Basically your gonna have to get a generic suicide door kit and have a body shop do the work. I have been tempted to do this but the expense and permanet nature of the mod keeps me from doing it.

GT Factory makes a 180degree hinge kit.  When I worked at a shop we installed it on an 03 Denali.  The kit is okay.  The thing is when suiciding the rear doors is that there's not really enough spacing for the hinges to be stable and strong.  OEM door hinges are spaced a ways apart, thus making them stable.
I'm not saying it can't be done, because it already has been on an 08 xB...

Hey Evil or someone,

How much did you get quoted for to do the doors?

Anyone know for sure how unstable it makes your doors? I would LOVE to do this but I want to keep my car pratical functional.

Never got a quote as I don't really plan to do it. I will ask my guy what he could do it for just to get a figure.

Awesome! Could you make it flap?
That would need a different type of hinge and and a servo/piston set up to control the movement.
(If you are being serious and not sarcastic . . . )
