I read somewhere recently that blue is gaining on white for the most popular car color. Now knowing that, I find it strange that Scion got rid of their only blue color option...

Hypnotic Teal Mica.... everyone I work with at the dealership laughed at me for getting it. Actually, I disliked it intensely when I first saw it; it doesn't have the same depth that the other colors have. But it's grown on me, and we didn't have much stock in automatics the day my Plymouth Neon went down, and it was the *different* color. Black or blue just seemed too plain (and hard to keep clean!), especially after I'd been drooling over the gold for the past month or two. I really like the color now; it seems really *me*.

Thx! Yep, I voted! The gold was more expensive as a limited color and all its goodies. I wanted my payments low and easy to maintain. I try to keep my debt as low as possible, so I'll be adding stuff to my vehicle, but paying in cash.

Welcome to the site CYBERICK1.
It looks like another gold xB. They are catching up to the Blackberry Crush.

Road & Track has a Teal 08XB they picked up for one of their long term tests. According to the first article they did on it they play to add mods as they go along so it might be something you'd be interested in following. They have a lot of long term testers so it won't be in every issue...I subscribe so I'll keep an eye out.

Just added my vote for the new Stingray Metallic. I was going to go with Nautical Blue at first, but decided it was probably smarter to get an '09 for only $100 more... well, that and the dealer traded away the Blue before I could get there. Stingray was my second choice, but I couldn't tell if I liked it from the Scion site. bindigok's photos here sold me on it. So thanks! Once I saw it in person I liked it even better and am thrilled with it. Definitely the right choice for me.

couldn't find me here either. Guess I was only in the introductions. Maybe I can catch up.
Anyways, GOLD, why of course.
