I have stingray metallic.   When I bought my Scion a few days ago, it was the only stingray one on the lot.  So far, I have only seen one other one the same color as mine.  Most are the Blackberry Crush.

If your in Imperial Beach/ Coronado we're the other Stingray!!!  Cuz there is only one other around here too.  Anyways, welcome.

Nope, that is not me.  I am in St Lucie County, FL.

Hello all!

Well, it took me 7 months to convince my husband that I needed to have my own xB, and we finally picked it up on 12/31/08.  We got it from Butler Toyota (I know there's someone else from Indy on this board...HI!!!!) which is where we got his Blackberry Crush over Memorial Day weekend. (Guess we buy new cars for the holidays!)  Mine is a beautiful Stingray Blue, and I love love love it!  They still need to install the spoiler, but they did get the radio and the rear bumper decal installed the day I picked it up. That's it for now, but I would love to spend lots more money on her!  Anyway, if I can get pictures of both of them, I'll post them.  Until then, I'll enjoy the looks and the smiles, the waves and the knowledge that I have the best car!!!

Now if I could just come up with a great name for my baby!  (It's hard to beat my husband's car..."Plumb Bob Square Car").

Take care,
SueBeeDoo

Hey SueBee, I'm the other Butler Toyota buyer. I bought after Valentines Day last year.  I dealt with Gary.  The finance guy was great (older gentleman).  I'm near Kokomo, so it's a bit of a drive for me.  But until they get a Scion dealership in Kokomo, (which the Toyota lot is doing), Bob Rohrman in Lafayette is closer to me and I wasn't impressed with it when I went there first.

And congrats on getting your own xB!!!!

Quick isn't the same as fast . . .
Fast is just acceleration and top speed.
Quick is maintaining that speed in a corner, better than just fast.

Hi all, and thanks for your GREAT ideas!

It made me start thinking, and playing around with my screenname...what do you think about :

SueBee's Blue Bee?  You know...it's blue(ish) and a "B"...xB, that is.  I could call her Bee!  Then we would have Bob and Bee.  Smiley

Hi, Shancopp!   We live north of Indy about 15 miles, so Butler is probably the closest to us, altho I did hear that there was a Scion place in Muncie. But, I am not in Muncie very often (even tho my dh works there) and I can drive right by Butler any day of the week when I am on my way home from work.  I'll be lookin' for your gold Toaster!

I still need to get them to install the spoiler and the mats...am I supposed to call them?  I thought they would call when the spoiler came in, but no word last week.  Definitely calling tomorrow.  My baby Bee needs "completion"!!!

Hope you all have a great weekend...

Okay, my turn...

SueBeeDooDeeBeeBlue (Sue Bee Do The B Blue) or  SueBeeDooDeeBlueBee (Sue Bee Do The Blue B)

I've got to find something else to do on these cold, dark winter days.

Two north Texas chapters of Scikotics went on a road trip yesterday to welcome a new chapter.  We're just cruising along on I-20 and are passed by a brand new, dealer paper tagged xB.  Problem is: it was chocolate brown...not blackberry crush, but brown.  Does anyone know about this color or was it custom?

If dirty and in some lights, the BBC looks brown.
So, I would guess (just a guess) that IF original paint, it is BBC dirty and/or in yellow/orange-ish light.

Otherwise, it would HAVE to be a custom paint.

...and yet another bon mot.  I went to scion.com and looked at the color choices for xB.  It does look like the BBC is brown in certain light.  Interestingly, there were 14 or so of us and the others thought the same thing.

Wow...okay, you guys are getting way to far ahead for my poor little brain!  i do have to be able to REMEMBER by baby's name!!!

The guys at work are not impressed with my name choice (which is fine as I have not decided on anything, and I do value their opinion...they named Bob, after all), so they h :)ave offered up "Trudy the Toaster Strudel".  I like it, but it sounds German, and we all know this ain't no German car.

Any more suggestions? It doesn't have to have anything to do with my screen name, of course.

HELP!!!
