I just bought my kit from retro-solutions.com , I got the 55w Digital kit at 8000K should have them beginning of next week.... $190 shipped

I will definatly hit you up on that. Gotta wait till after next show though as money is tight enough just getting there. I want a 6k so keep that in mind.

I'm planning on doing a full retrofit. It'll take some time and $$$, but it will be worth it.

To everyone whom is going to use an aftermarket HID kit, I really recommend baking your headlights, pulling out the OEM projectors, and cutting off the squirrel finder. Oncoming drivers will thank you.

I just got a new 09 xb, and am considering adding fog lights. Would HID's be a better option, or are they completely different?

What is a squirrel finder??

Fog lights don't really project that far out. They basically add more lower lighting about 10-20 ft out. HID's are a plug& play replacement for your head light bulbs and will project further out, wider (both depending on your kit selection), and you will stand out more at night. I plan to put on fogs and a HID kit, but if I had to choose one.... HID.
