One overlay (with some minor tweaking to suit my tastes
) add the previous LED swap and voila
oh yeah, when reassembling your dash, make sure you slide the buttons thru the little holes

what kind of overlay and where? Is it just tinted vinyl and does that go over the LCD displays?

The overlay was purchased on ebay, it let a bit more light thru that I wanted so I used the existing gauge face as a pseudo filter. I used the smallest ball mill bit I had for my dremel and at a low speed milled off the orange from the existing face (out of the dash of course). That and some minor touch ups on the back side with black paint (just to match up with the differing fonts) and voila! New face. Well, that and 15 led's (plcc-2 style...ultra bright blue)
