I was playing around on the radio manual & settings, and found where you can choose between amber and blue display.  Mine is black & white, and has been since I got it.  Is that normal?  Is it supposed to be amber or blue?  It won't change based on choosing those settings.  Is there another way to set it?

thx

I assume you're referring to the Premium radio... It's the light around the buttons that can change from amber to blue. The display will remain black & white Smiley

To change the color of the b/w display, you would need to open it up and add a piece of colored film. I think to do that, there are two screws on the sides, push in all the tabs around the faceplate, unclip the wiring harness, remove 8 or 9 screws (one has a metal tab that you'll need to put back). Do this w/ the face of the stereo down, otherwise the buttons will fall out. And do it on a soft cloth or towel so it doesn't get scratched. I think that's all there is to it, but I haven't done it myself...
