Took about 30 minutes.

I'll have the filler plugs in a couple days from the dealer. (p/n 55539-52060-B0  Cover, Spare SW)

I'm assuming you have the radio that allows you to change the ipod music through it?

Did u pull out the ipod jack & turn it around? I would be interested in doing this with my xB as long as I don't need to use a sledge hammer & a sawzall.
The ipod & cable looks kinda skanky in my car. Putting it in the console would look much cleaner.

Essentially, yes. A dremel tool will make your life easier, while I didn't snap them in too well, it wasn't anything a little 5 min epoxy couldn't fix  naughty

Glad to see like-minded modifiers here.  I did this same thing.  Took about an hour-and-a-half.  Couldn't stand the too-long cable and sacrifice of a cupholder.  Wish Scion designers had stealth in mind - I got so tired of unplugging and plugging back in when leaving car parked.  Left the AUX jack in place though.
