Please call the part department at Scion/Carson dealer.Last time I spoke to them, They said they will sell you the"'panel "only for walk in onder. Good Luke!
Has anyone followed up on ordering C pillar panels? Just curious. |

Cesar emailed me back and said he can get just the panel without all the insides. He has to call Japan to get a part number, that takes two to three days so I should be able to give you an answer by this weekend. If it is not outrageous I am going to purchase one!

Before you all plan to buy the Rumion c-pillar panel
Please check the space behind the c-pillar, there are Not enough space and depth to work with 8' or 10" subwoofer!!! unless
you custom built a new panel with 2" to 3" stick out!!! or a super thin type of speaker.
Go to the DIY section at this Forum and check out "2r Gen. Taking the back end apart removing the rear seats" By ScionWest, LOOK at picture #20, #21,and #26. You will see what I mean. If you buy the Japan Rumion's c-pillar panel with it pre-cut speaker grill position is too close to the safety belt's reinforcement structure. (look at my early post - Rumion sub panel)
I didn't mean to discourage you guy at all. I hope Scionwest's "posted pictures" will help you guy more understand about your project.
I work office are close to downtown & Glendale area at Southern California, I will happey to let you see my xb before you guy plan to make a purchase of the sub panel.
*****This is only my though,The U.S.$$ VS Japanese Yen is fluctuate about 2% to 3% weekly, that is why the Scion dealer CANNOT give you the price quote. They WILL loss money

I happen to find my purchase invoice(for subwoofer) from Carson Scion. Here are the part# and cost
Part# 86150-12200 (Rumion sub) $325.00 + Tax
Part# 62480-12200-B0 (Rumion Sub Panel) $167.80 + Tax ******This is what you guy looking for*******
Notice: I bought it on July 2008 last year; therefore, the dealer may quote you a higher price due to the EXCHANGE rate
(last year the exchange rate were $1 Dollar vs 110 Japanese Yen, Now the exchange rate is $1 vs 98 Yen)
