SWEET, thanks for the details. I should have you guys done it for me, and it should help whoever wants to do the same thing in the future. One question, do you have to paint the Japanese bumper?
Thanks!

Nice! Now can you get the Rumion bumper support or do they not have one?

That looks really nice. The bumper is clean and sleek and I am so tired of my solid red tails. Hubby is getting ready to add smoke to the ones on my car and the ones on his truck. That should help a little. Thanks for posting.

Very cool! I like the look very clean! Do they make a body kit that fits the Rumion front and rear bumpers?

Umm . . . I just noticed something that should be noted. The plastic part is a bumper cover. The "USDM bumper support" is the ACTUAL bumper itself. THAT is what protects the vehicle and passengers in the event of a rear impact. I thought it was simply a cover swap, rather than a completely different bumper under the xB and Rumion rumps. As much as I love the clean and non-offset-reverse-light are and was thinking long-term of getting it. BUT, without a JDM bumper that fits under the bumper cover is a big turn off for me, as rear impact is important with my kids in the back seat.

THE JDM support doesnt do much.. it just sits flat onto the body of the car.. upon impact there is no extra support like the USDM version.. thats the reason our bumpers are larger..
you can modify the USDM support by taking off the extended mounting points which pushes out out bumpers .. just re drill the holes and there you have it..
We ddint do it becuase if someones going to slam into the back you your car.. your screwed either way.. even if you had the support on it wont do much becuase its monted right on the body square..

I love the tail lights! Not so sure about the bumper... sure would look good without the reflectors, plus you have effectively removed ANY rear bumper whatsoever. The metal part removed is much more than something to hold up the cover. It is the actual bumper designed to absorb impact. The Japanese model would have come with a rear bumper behind the cover as well but it would be shorter for obvious reasons.
