Basically you purchase another passenger side door handle cap and replace the drivers side with it.

I just ordered the cap and it was $20 with tax from my local dealer.  Should be here by Wednesday, so if the weather isn't too bad I will get a DIY up for ya'll. 

Figured this would last longer than the keyhole plugs and are similarly priced!  The only downside is that you may  have problems if your remote battery dies!!

You could always put a emergency button hidden somewhere on the vehicle to activate the door lock mechinism. The only problem is you would have to hop in the car and put the key in to deactive the alarm. This is done by a lot of Street/ Hot Rodders or anyone that has a shaved door kit incase they lock their keys in the car. Also on that note, if your battery dies for any reason I have added a couple of pig tails to the exterior of the car so I can grab a set of jumper cables to open the doors.
