Hello everyone,

I was looking at this wing for my xB on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Painted-OEM-Factory-Spoiler-Scion-XB-08-09-Rear-Wing_W0QQitemZ250428616769QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3a4eb57041&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1171|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Anyone dealt with this kit? Should I beware? Anyone have any suggestions of where I should get a spoiler from. Any tip for installation? Difficulty of installation on a scare of 1-10?

Thanks for all your insights in advance!

I just bought this same spoiler from eBay. It came in great shape, I had seen step by step installation photos and instructions on one of the forums before, but I can no longer find it for some reason...

However, there is another place that offers a PDF of install instructions (top right corner):
http://www.trdsparks.com/displayparts.php?Mdl_dtl=631&Part_cat=27&parts_id=1557
and they also offer a template kit for only $24 which even though the eBay spoiler says it comes with instructions, mine were very general and did not help at all in the end!
Template kit:

There are step by step photos for the old xB (if this helps any): http://scionevolution.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6509

Good luck!

I just installed my spoiler this weekend. It was fairly easy. The spoiler from eBay came with "locator strips" that you connect to the spoiler with tape, then put the spoiler in place, tape the strips down to the car and remove them from the spoiler. Drill the holes using the strips and install. You just pop out the plugs on the inside of the hatch and be careful drilling the hole on the driver's side because the tail light wiring is in the same area.
