I am really thinking about doing this. I saw a before and after on an RS on another website and it looked good.
Just wondering if anyone else has done this?

i haven't done it to mine but i have seen it done and it really changes the car... looks reall good and i heard it was an easy mod to do...

Its not bad looking. Just not for me. I like the chopped look. If you like it that way then go for it.

I think removing the tape makes the car look crisper, and cleaner, like can be seen in those teal pics that sonicmyk posted. However, I also think it takes away from the 'sporty' look of the vehicle.
