I saw at Costco last night a back up camera and monitor for under $50. I have no idea how good/bad it is, but it sounds like a deal. They were closing, so I didn't get a close look, but it appears to attach to a flat surface or license plate/frame... Sorry, I didn't catch the brand either...

That looks similar to the one that Wal Mart sells for $98.00.  I was going to install one last fall, but the screen didn't seem big enough.  For that price of 50 bucks it looks like a good deal.

$25 is a much better price than $370!

I have a camera in the rear of my motorcycle so I can see what is going on behind me.  I think it is great except that the images are reversed.  What is on the right on the screen is on the left in reality.  Takes a bit of getting used to.  Don't know if the car camera does the same thing.

You might want to check Antonline for the camera system. They have a mirror with the camera so you dont have anything unusual on the dash and it keeps the clean look. I dont know what the mirror looks like when the lcd is on but it looks like a good idea.

If you have a Sam's Club, they have a Backup system that has a 7" monitor for about $100.00.

All seem to be not worth it!  Dang what happened to "pay attention to where you are and where you are going when you back up!" Next thing you know we will all be going for the "beeper" when in reverse...or like the phone company putting traffic cones out behind the xB when you park!  IMO, spend your money on what looks good and makes the box go faster!!!
