I went to Home Depot and bought a buffing wheel set. It comes with 4 sticks of the different kinds of polishing compound and 3 polishing wheels you hook up to a drill. The kit was only 10.00. I found this kit where the drill bits where.

I Removed the heat shield and wet sanded it with wet sand papper. 400 grit. After that I started polishing it with the compounds till I was happy with the results. Took me about a hour and a half. It didn't seem like that long. I guess because I was busy.

:notworthy: Great job man! Did you spray it with high temp clear coat after? I recommend that since exposing the bare G.I. to heat would make it rust faster...
