I never really got into the whole woody kit thing. It doesnt look bad, just not something I would do.

Sorry...another thumbs down. It just looks cheesy, and I don't think those wheels work with that look either.

What I don't like is that t goes too far forward onto the front fenders (the "real thing" -1930s-50s Woodies- did not), it doesn't extend to the panel edges (which makes it look REAL "tacked on"), and it stops well below the windows and above the lower side seal/edge. What the "real things" were are wagons created from sedans that were made using wood for the rear frame, RATHER THAN metal. So, they were rather boxy (my issue with the PT Cruiser "Woodies") and the wood extended all the way to the panel edges, as the wood WAS the panel and the structure itself. IF that kit has raised "edge" wood, that redeems it SOME. However, it needs to go closer to the edge to look "factory" or "real." It it is all flat vinyl . . . I'm hoping the proposed ScionPro one looks far better.

Yeah my thoughts to guys. I'm into the whole woody look but I wish it didnt go so far foward and would move down and up a little more. I can understand why they did it like the did with the fender flairs becasue the org. ones had big fenders this way makes our flatter ones stick out more but it should go all the way down to the side skirts at least and up to if not higher by the windows. So Tartan there is another kit out there? The kit my dealer is getting is $1049 installed this one is about $650. And yes Im doing a real wood interior to but thats another thread And I agree the wheels look horrible!!!

The white car looks like a Chrysler minivan. I like the original woodies and believe that some things should be left to a certain era. Sort of like adding 20 inch wheels to a 60's muscle car, just doesn't look right.

Are you sure thats the offical scion pro kit, I dont see anything mentioned anyplace. Im very disapointed. I like the white woody better the scion pro looks more like an old mini van to me. At least the white one has some style to it. What do you think Tartan?

Yo wavey I wanna see you do this. However if it was me there are a few things I would change. I prefer the scionpro.com kit, but it needs some changes. First you need to totally drop the wood on the front fenders. Second, woody's had panels. So every individual section would have edging. So basically you need edging along the front and rear of each door and along the back section as well. I think I like the scionpro better because it goes all they was down to the bottom of the doors. Plus I just don't like the pinstripe look of the other one.
