What you have to think about while designing and then making a kit that the avg person can put on is
1) Body lines - you have to go with the straightest one
2) Body curves and rounded edges - Difficult to work vinyl or trim around to tight of a body curve
3) What kit you make that allows the installer to modify it slightly to their own personal likes.

The kit can be easily modified from something already there, the trim is a 3/4 round trim that is and injected plastic molding with 3M adhesive basically allowing you to bend it some what without heating it.

Vinyl is an automotive vinyl that we had a UV laminate over it for extra protection against cracking and fading.  A

Adding extra trim or cutting the existing vinyl is very possible. We manufacture almost 40 different kits for vehicles and have been around since the early 80s so we do put in some thought and actually try several different looks before deciding on a kit that is work friendly to the avg person without having to get a prof  installer. Any suggestions or ideas are always appreciatted

Hello Kevin,

What an honor it is to have you post here at NSXB. So you've seen my drawings (page 2) can this be accomplished and how much is it going to cost me? I tried to follow all the bodylines, and I think I did pretty well, except on the one below the window. That line caused me some issues and I haven’t really figured out how to fix that, but Ill leave that up to you Smiley. For those of you that don’t know Woody Wagoon, they are working with scionpro for the new gen 2 woody kit as well as various other things. You can check them out at woodywagoon.com.

Yes I have seen the drawing.... and some of it is doable. The Front Fender that we did almost has to stay that way so that it remains a clean straight line until you get to the headlight just no other way to get close. You cant go any higher on the doors as the line from back qtr panel will not line up with the tail lights and rear hatch.

Now the Trim you want to go above the doors  and near pillar trim is prolly doable but you have to remember the widest wood grain trim we make is only 1 inch wide. Reason for that .. the wider it is the harder it is to work with and make any kind of turn.

Also any trim you want to put Vertical along the door edge is just a matter of adding extra  trim. The lines you see on the one we did for Scion pro  is just buckskin pin striping .. purely optional although I wouldnt suggest it if you were using trim on the vertical door lines.

Hope this helps a little anyways Smiley http://www.ptwoody.com/ts007.html   this one might be little closer to what u were looking for but doesnt have fender pcs

Now that is what I think of when I think of a woody. Doing that kit except for the Gen2 would be perfect in my opinion.

I tossed this idea because Im not liking the way the woody kit would look. Thats not to say that woody wagoon and scionpro do crappy work because honestly they both have been very good to me at answering my questions and helping me out but there product just isnt the direction Id like to go with. Also, and more importantly the cost of the whole project was getting up there. Looking at $2500 just to do the exterior was getting to steep for my little pockets. Im looking at starting my own photography company so I think Ill use the extra coin on that instead and put this project off to the side...for now. Again thanks to Woody Wagoon and Scion Pro for there help and also thanks to both Jacks.

Got a call from my son in Phoenix last night. He saw a CSM xB with airbrushed woodgrain on I-10 yesterday.  I find it hard to believe, but he said it looked pretty good.  It also had painted wheels with baby moons and may have been lowered. It was owned by a local business, but he didn't get the name and couldn't snap a picture.
