Yeah, I know, it sticks out like a sore thumb..

I would think painting it would compromise the cooling capacity.

I got some paint from Eastwood Co. that is made specifically for that... I haven't had a chance to use it yet though. Here's the description:

Standard engine paints are too thick for radiator use because they can interfere with heat transfer and block air flow between the cooling fins. Also, standard paint tends to flake off radiator tanks. Radiator Black helps solve this problem. Durable Enamel formulation resists temperatures up to 250ºF, gas and chipping.

I know... I'll do it when I put the new grilles on. I think I need to take a Friday off and do a bunch of stuff while my son is in day care. Wink

Yeah I was about to say you need special paint for that because most paint is too think and will mess up the radiator. Would be cool if the paint came in different colors.
