I got those 'Eagle Eyes Clear Lens' from No Limitz....i think you'll more commonly hear them called Smoked Anzos.  They were only $240, which i think is cheaper than the TYCs.

It depends on if you want more white on your car....(TYC)...or more black...(Anzos). I liked the dark Anzos w/ my Blackberry Crush xB.

Also, i just didn't think the TYCs fit w/ my xb because of the circles. My xb is a box, and i even have a square kicker subwoofer.

The TYCs dont fit perfectly, there is going to be a space between the light and the bumper, check around the forum, they are also known as Rumion Lights I believe, and you'll find some stuff on them. I have the Smoke Anzos and they're great, they also come in white, rather than dark smoked, and they fit perfectly, where as the other lights are made for the Rumion and dont fit the xB perfectly.

He TYCs don't fit perfectly? Wow. That suprised me cause they were featured in Scion Accessory Brochures.

I've never used them, but I read there is a space between the bumper and the light, with the Anzos you wont find that.

I think the TYC taillamps and the Rumion ones are different and the TYCs are made for the American model.

I got the genuine TYCs & they fit perfect... I've had them ever since I got my box from the dealer in May '08. Call me biased, but I honestly think they're the best choice...  :thumbsup:

Edit: Looking more at the lights in that pict, they ARE flush to the bumper.  The gap is actually a reflection of silver/white.  If it was a gap, it would be dark.

There are ones for the Rumion that look quite similar.
The ones shaped for the Rumion and there is a slight gap.  That is b/c the Rumion's bumper is shaped different.  The actual bumper underneath is physically smaller (and weaker) on the JDM model (different crash laws), so the plastic cover is lower and closer to the body.  The part that butts against the taillamps is shaped different as part of the different part contours.
The metal understructure is the same, except for the bumpers (the structural part UNDER the plastic) themselves and the nose (hood and fenders).  The Rumion front parts just bolt-on the xB.

I've had my TYCs installed since April 2008....no gap...and no problems so far.

The Rumion lights on the xB have gap, not the TYCs. Read truth about Rumion lights or something. It will explain it all. So again Rumion lights = gap, tyc = perfect fit.

Could it be because the backup light is round....the emblem is almost round...the wheels are round....the gauges are round...the steering wheel is round.... it is all in what you like! :rolleyes:
