KwikSilver- Silver 09 Quick isn't the same as fast . . . Fast is just acceleration and top speed. Quick is maintaining that speed in a corner, better than just fast. The xB is QUICK!

Cheaper? Yes. But, it being a purely cosmetic mod, I'd rather my eyelids look more aggressive, like the ones from forjworks. The NIA eyelids are wider in back and more narrow in the front, giving it a "huh?" or lazy eye appearance. Here's a side by side comparison:

In the volkswagen world that would be call sleepy eye and the angry eye. The was actually a different name for the angry eye style but can't remember it at the moment. It usually referred to hoods that had the headlight cover like that built into the hood. It was actually considered cheap and lazy to use light covers instead of having your hood moded for the look. Then again the VW scene can be full of arrogant Aholes.
Anyways I like the more agressive look. No point in putting on an agressive lip kit only to give it sleepy eyes.

I like the look of eyelids from a distance, but the seam at the hood drives me nuts!
Molding them to the hood might be expensive, but the result would be fantastic.
Though, I guess it would be half molded to the hood and the other half molded to the body panel. That wouldn't be bad following the hood seam.

I found one from a guy on here. He wants a good price and its close enough I can pick it up. However since I told him I want it I haven't heard from it. Its killing me cause I got a friend that does killer custom work. With a second hood I won't have to worry about down time. I would love to get started on it but I can't till I get a hood. I am having my friend look into the possability of creating a boser style hood for me. Not sure how it will work with the head light design. Might have to have a seperat piece on the fender as well. We will just have to see.

Okay, I've decided...I think I'm going with the NIA. One, they are less aggressive looking, thinner, and I like that look. Two, I'm female and aggressive enough on the road as it is, so I want a more demure look. Besides, once they see those on my car, the club will all have an opinion. Can't wait.

Im thinking about the NIA to because of the price, and how they are less aggro.
Post some pics when you get them one!

I like the NIA eyelids. They are more subtle and don;t take away to much from the headlight. Especially i you install some nice lights.

Hey! That's my car Lol! When designing the eyelids, we decided to go with the flow of the light itself! It's not aggressive looking but that's actually the point! We weren't looking to design something that covers half of your headlight!
BTW....I have way better pictures of the eyelids if anyone wants to see them. Just let me know!

Sure, I'd like to see them. I have plans on buying some of those eyelids. I may go with the NIA vendor.
