Did you place an order for the eyelids or the lip kit?
I ordered the eyelids and they took about 2 to 3 weeks last month. I'm sure they paint them as they get the orders. I haven't put them on the car yet since the temperature here hasn't got over 40° and I'm worried that 3M tape would not hold up unless it's warmer out. In NIA's instructions and they suggest not driving the car over 35 miles an hour for 24 hours after you put them on. I had also seen on a thread where someone had doubled up on the 3M tape on their eyelids since one of their's was loose. It may have been this thread LOL.

i got an email from Kevin after ordering the eyelids. i asked about the lip kit and he answered "As far as the lip kit we do have a design ready and were debating to do it either in fiberglass or urathane. After much research We decided to go ahead and make it out of urathane. That being said urathane process takes a lil longer than fiberglass so hopefully we can have something ready for the summer." hope that helps.

If I just bought the NIA eyelids primered, would it be a white primer, or would it be black or gray, etc... I don't know my paints very well, haha. I'm thinking an almost flat black eyelid set that matched the A pillar tape would look neat.

grey primer.  i then colored it flat black clear coated. i like the rough look of the clear coat so i did not sand it.  on the car.  |
