Hey everyone does anybody know place where I can get gas lift shocks set for hood, they have them on ebay but I think I saw somebody on cardomain with them installed on new scion xb a lot cheaper but forgot to mark that page.

I got the cheap-o generic hood dampers from eBay (imported from taiwan).  I think I paid around $60 after shipping.  They came with pretty crappy, poorly translated instructions, but everything was pretty easy to figure out.  Stay tuned for a DIY I'll be posting with pics and you can decide for yourself whether you like them or not.  I hope to have the DIY for my hood dampers and engine torque damper up in a day or two.
