So I've seen some pics around of radios that come stock on '08+ xB's, that have the color changed. I disasembled the radio and saw the LED's are not the same as the surface mount plcc2 ones for the cluster. So my question is, can anyone help me and tell me how to change the color for this stock radio on my '09 model? I want the color to be blue. Thanks for the time.

The amber to blue change on ours is controlled through the menu in the radio.  The radio manual told us how to change it.

If you need to do the swap, the leds in the radio are probably SMT1206.  They are smaller than the ones in the guages.

on my radio, you turn it off, then hold the menu button, for like 4 seconds, then it will come up with different things, and radio color is one of them.

I think which radio it is makes a difference.  I don't think the basic one changes color.

Quick isn't the same as fast . . .
Fast is just acceleration and top speed.
