hey did anyone get this as an option? when i got my xb they said they dont do it any more...was it really worth the 4000k and only50 hp when a 4000k turbo kit can get 100+hp?

The TRD Supercharger was a bit of a dud.  There were bearing issues, so they broke.  Toyota went out, broke them up and scrapped most unsold.  They are no longer available.
The turbos, like the one Sparks sells (made by World) is a much better designed and engineered unit.

Fast is just acceleration and top speed.
Quick is maintaining that speed in a corner, better than just fast.

I have thought about a turbo but then the thought of all the other stuff to go with it. Tune or stand alone processor,transmission upgrades,diff for transaxle, The thought of an unreliable car I will pass. Kinda why I don't really do anymore to this car its dead nuts reliable. 2AZ is a beefy little motor but I care not to find its weak points.

what do you guys think of the cx racing turbo?  it's much cheaper (around 1600).  it puts out about 200 hp.  it's a few $/hp less than other mods, but i don't know, it just feels like it would be less reliable than the world turbo
