Hey eric did you pick the wheels because here in St. Louis all they seem to have on the lot is one kind of cover and then they have the stock wheels on showcase...

Cramz

Sorry, I didn't see your post... we did pick different wheel covers than what are in the pictures & are on the xB now. They had to order them & let me keep the originals (the ones in the pics).

Okay, here are some new pics... I was going to take more, but the batteries in my camera died. With these pics you can see my front plate removal w/ DIY color matched plugs, mirror signal & reverse light overlays from bluebat, rear license plate frame & cover, newscionxb.com decal, and VG Sharkfin antenna Smiley

Here are some closeups of the VG Sharkfin Antenna from Visual Garage - Their Sharkfin site is SharkfinAntenna.com. They don't yet have the new xB's antenna listed, but contact them to order. Their prices are even less than drop shippers that other people have bought from. Go straight to the source! Cheesy

Installation was easy (instructions included)... simply unscrew the stock antenna, clean where the adhesive will be with alcohol, screw the wire onto the stock antenna base, peel & expose the adhesive, press & hold the sharkfin down for a couple minutes & you're done. Make sure you have it lined up and marked off w/ painters tape first. Smiley

hey Eric

nice wax job and that wheelskin cover looks good!

how difficult to sew it on to the wheel?

also, does the shark fin work as a regular antenna?  Thanks!

The shark fin works great... same, as far as I can tell, as stock.

Check out this thread for more about the steering wheel cover Smiley

Okay, I got the go-ahead to share my rear brake light "mod" Wink

This is an overlay that you apply to the interior of the rear hatch under the brake light fixture. You can easily peel the fixture off and, using painters tape, outline where you want the decal to go and make sure that it's in the correct position. The brake light just snaps back on. The hardest part was getting the pictures w/out someone to push the brake pedal Wink

You can get them here!

As requested, here's a pic of my DIY bumper plugs... I got some tiny vinyl plugs from OSH for $.50/pr and used touch up paint to color match them. A few coats worked well. Unfortunately, when they drilled, they must have pulled on the bumper and it doesn't look perfectly flat around the plugs. I think if I used any other plugs on the market that are larger, they wouldn't sit flush on the bumper.
