i live in San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles and it is 111 degrees + here today oh no

it is supposed to cool down tomorrow to 108 yes

what is weather like in your area this weekend?

I lived in the San Fernando Valley many years ago (Calabasas...before it went upscale) and remember those 100+ days. We'd decide to go to Zuma Beach only to come around the last bend on Malibu Canyon Road and see the beach completely socked-in with fog. The choice was freeze at the beach or bake in the Valley.

Mix of sun and clouds today in NW Connecticut. High in the upper 70's with a chance of a shower or thundershower. Sunny and about 80 tomorrow, cooler with 50% chance of rain on Sunday. Nighttime lows in the 60's. This is a great time of year to be in the Northeast. August will probably be a different story. February will definitely be a different story.

Here in north central Indiana........

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. West wind between 5 and 10 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

It's been knocking around the high 80's and low 90's here in the Sooner Nation and since we've had record rainfalls the humidity is ridiculous. Grass is so wet it doesn't dry out until almost noon. We've had more rain so far in 08 than we usually get in an entire year. oh no
