Interesting news item.  The Hummer is the most frequently ticketed vehicle on the road.  The tC is number two on the list.  xB is number three!  Must be for tinted windows, loud exhausts, booming stereos or drifting in a school zone.

Even the xA is on the list.  shocked

That is interesting.
My first generation XB (which had a bicycle rack) seemed invisible to POLICE regardless of my speed or otherwise.

The new one has had no incidents yet!  naughty but I'm sure that I've now jinxed myself!!!!

Ive never been pulled over but in the year that Iv had my car Iv been pulled over twice!! Once for not stoping fully at a stop sign in front of a police station (lol my bad), but no ticket since I had an eyelash in my eye and couldnt see and I wanted to stop at the up coming red light (true story) and once on the freeway for going 72 MPH but I got a ticket for that how lame!

That is really interesting that the tc and xb get pulled over so much.

Some of the listings r-e-a-l-l-y don't make sense.  Toyota Solara?  That's a new age Buick, not a hot rod. Maybe parking tickets count.

On the other hand, I can believe the Jaguar XJ on the "least ticketed" roster.  The only time they're on the road is when they're on the back of a flatbed.

I got pulled over after diving into a corner way too fast (was enjoying my full TRD suspension).  I was polite to the LEO and was upfront with him, both about knowing why he pulled me over, and that I had a firearm on my person (not required to disclose unless directly asked in AZ, which he didn't).  He thanked me for letting him know I was armed and sent me on my way after chiding me nicely about not taking turns so fast on the street and running my license.  So knock on wood, no tickets for me yet!

Wow lucky man, I hear the cops in AZ arent so nice.

I think a lot of it depends on your attitude and what dumb thing you were doing when you caught their attention.  I've had a couple bad run-ins over the years, but only 1 LEO who was totally out of line (still drove away w/o a ticket though).

I've been pulled over about 5 times since 2003 (for stupid things like popping a wheelie on my bike to speeding, to a turn and burn) and drove away with a verbal warning every time.  I'm sure my luck will run out sooner or later, but I firmly believe that being polite, and acting in a way that makes the officer believe you aren't going to be a threat (like rolling all my windows down, keeping hands in plain view, etc.) goes a long ways towards getting away w/o any citations.

I laughed when i read that article......a few weeks before i got pulled. 68 in a 35. The speed dropped from 60 to 35 for a work zone that wasn't on my route or even had workers at the time! It was a $445 ticket  shocked that the judge dropped to 185.

and yeah, the radar detector was on. oh no

lesson learned.

I got a ticket from a cop on "Revenue detail." a week after i got my xB.
This poor excuse for a law enforcement officer wrote me up for going through a red light. Problem was that the light was green when I crossed the threshold.
I think he did not see my temporary license tag and figured he had to do something once he pulled me over.
He was nice enough to tell me to go to court and also told me exactly what to say to the prosecuting attorney.
"I know the guy," he stated. "He'll work with you." Wow! The cop and prosecuting attorney in collusion. Could it be?
i couldn't make this up if I tried.
So I went to court. Did what the cop said.
$150.00 later I was out the door. I could have appealed but we all know that story.
What a racket.
These guys ought to be strung up by their big toes for about a week.
