I actually got to seem some in game sequances and game play on saturday at the local game stop. It was on a high def LCD TV as well. Man its freakin awsome. Already puts GT4 to shame.

It'll be sweet no doubt about that.  Sony and Polyphony wouldn't let such an anticipated game fall by the wayside.  I just hope this time around they actually make the cars sound different and like they should.  In all of the older interations they all sound like lawnmowers on crack.
