Meh.  I know the original was Trans Am based, but I always thought of the '82 as Pontiac's attempt to go away from "redneck muscle car" and more towards "eurostyle sports car".  And Kitt even more so.  While cool, this mustang almost seems over the top, especially for KITT.  I expected a streamlined and debonair de-badged sports car.  Looks more like a reinterpretaion of Bullit.   confused

I completely agree with everyone else that car is a little over the top for KITT.  I had the same idea, sleek debaged something or other with smoother lines.

Not bad. I like that Mustang but I think they should have just the '98+ Z28 or T/A. They could have even used the new GTO. That car doesnt get a lot of shine.
