It may improve safety and visibility, but I'm not all about these tail lights that run nearly up to the roof. Like the Volvos and the new Honda CR-V, this suffers the same. Wrecks the styling, imho. I'm gonna go with

Both Autoweek and Motor Trend have reviews of the Soul in this month's issue with the obvious comparison to the xB. The reports are mostly positive, but far from glowing...ride and noise levels of the Soul leave a lot to be desired.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...except when poorly done..
