KIA soul hands down.  Such a blatant, and cheap xB rip off.   sick

Cube - by far! I think Scion could pick up a few things from the Soul's interior, but otherwise the xB is so far above the others it can't even see them!  Tongue

The Silver Brick

I owned a 2003 Element before the Silver Brick.  One of the reasons I bought it was because it looked different, but I got the "Shoreline Mist" color which went nicely with the plastic panels.  Now entering its 7th year, the Element looks old.  The Cube just looks awkward...kind of in a Pontiac Aztek way.  The original xB was a decent looking ride, but I could never get past the Benjamin Buford Bubba Blue lip front bumper.  The Soul is just overstyled.

I holding off judgement on the Cube until I see some in person and up close.  It might "grow on me" a bit and elevate itself in my opinion . . .

Now, the Soul looks pretty good in picts and magazines, but AWFUL in person.  The first half-dozen I saw, I didn't even realize it was the same vehicle type.  I thought "what the heck is THAT ugly thing," only later seeing it was a Soul.  That saddens me, as I actually tend to LIKE Korean cars.  I don't know what it is about the Soul, but it looks worse and worse with each I see in person.  It isn't ugly in a cool and quirky way, like the Cube.  It is just VERY poorly designed, with front, sides, and rear looking like 3 different designs stuck together with little flow or consistency.

The Cube is odd, but consistent, so it may or may not visually "hold together" after they age a bit.

The Scions both appeal to me.  Honestly, I am a bit more fond of the FIRST gen exterior than the second.  The second gen, though, has a MUCH better interior and "performs" much more to my my liking and tastes.  As that is what I see and "feel" as I drive it, that is what is more important to me.

I saw a Cube yesterday and actually tried to snap a pic, but it didn't work too good.  It wasn't too bad actually.  It was even an ugly olive green color too.  I've not seen a Soul, but they look quite cartoonish to me on paper.

I agree with the part about the scions. the first gen appealed to me more than the secound. But i couldnt get past the interior and the power of the second gen for almost the same price.
