Anyone put a cold intake filter in the 08 XB? 
Difficulty?

I picked up the rubber mats from Sam's Club about $20.00  The front fits well the back is so so.

I want to run some lights under my dash. Did anyone run power direct from the battery to inside the cab? I heard that you can push the cables thru the steering column?  Do you have to access it from under the car or can you get to it under the hood?

Manual, my wife can't drive it but my kid got his permit and I felt I needed to have him learn stick.

XB2 is a great car but, I would like to get rid of the skimpy armrest and change the console to be bigger with an armrest you you could use.  Also make the cup holders bugger.  A lock on the glove box would be nice as well as having the to have the rear glass to open as a hatch  I do wish there was another clock. I like having my computer set to display average MPG most of the time. I'd like to be able to see the outside temperature and time without having to toggle through the display.  Auto lights would be great, if you have the parking lights on the car doesn't even show that it's on...  The cheap foam that supports the trunk area needs to be beefed up...

Did anyone change their the oil on the XB2?  Where is the oil filter? How hard is it to get to?

How did you get the wires from the battery to under the dash?

Try running your heater, I think the noise is from the heating system.  Is your heater setting on?  I had the noise in my Camry SE, only early when the engine is warming up.  So far nothing yet with my XB2
