I like it but it kinda looks a little like the ridgeline. I think they should flair out the fenders to give it a little more style.

I have changed my vote on the manual vs automatic transmission. I have been living down here on the coast of Maine for 6 months now and I hate the manual now. When I lived in the bush it was great, but down here, the summer the tourists and construction have the roads bunged up. I will stick with the manual tranny til this one dies but my next car will be an automatic for sure. I have looked at the Piaggio MP3,  "3 wheeled scooter" as a summer ride so if I can pay down my bills that will solve the summer bung problem. If you are purchasing a new xb and live near city traffic you may want to consider the automatic transmission. I bought my xb in the summer of last year so I had no idea I would be driving in this heavy traffic. The piaggio scooter is an automatic transmission and would be good on gas too.

Congrats on the win, evil. Interior is a very important part of the ride, "the pilot spends most of his time there." Do yu have any pics of the interior?

I have not named mine yet but my niece named her car amber-Lince because she gave me a ride to the hospital while I was having a heart attack.
I guess if my GPS can have a name the xb can have one too. The GPS is named Maggie "it's a maggelllan" w/ a female voice. My daughter loves to program maggie on trips & sometimes I think she believes theres a real person on the other end talking. She's like, DAAAD turn down the radio... Maggie's talking. I will name my xb  "MiPod" for now.

Geesh..... sounds like the new 3G is not very scion friendly, you should start a class action lawsuit for discrimination. Whats up with that ? My  60 gig plays nice w/ the scion xb.

I like it the color is right on w/ the rs gold. I have seen a few of the rs's on the road and I like the color. the gold will give you so many options for customizing. I think chrome would look great w/ that color / like rims and grill etc.

Last winter I was living in the sticks "back woods of Maine" and opted to get snow tires. Now I am down on the coast and I don't think I will need snow tires cuz we get mostly snain down here. "snain is a snow rain mix".

I like the multi display and I use the temp  the most in the winter and the average mpg the most in the  summer but I really wish they had a scroll function that would scroll through all the functions automatically and have an adjustment to adjust the scroll speed. Hey isn't Eric a programmer. could'nt he write a script for this?? ha ha Just razzin ya you guys. My network / router is pooched so I only get online once in a while. T he internet is strictly forbidden at work , I think they can shoot you for it.

I can't tell cause I burnt the hell out of my nose trying to sniff the radiator cap JK. I miss you guys. I been working a lot. I had a pick up that smelled like antifreeze a lot,  & the dealership checked it a few times and said it was fine but I dont think that smell should make its way into the cabin cuz antifreeze is poisonous. The nisssan guys just said oh it's fine

I love the scion hako  sign me up I want the first one. Make it orange cuz thats my fav. I think scion vehicles have the coolest style.

I won my 60 gig video i-pod in the maine state lottery promotion. I must admit that I probably never would have bought one but since I have had it I use it every day and I love it. I have tried other brands that my friends have and I don't think the sound quality is as good as my pod but that is probably cuz I have owner bias like the way that I think scions are better than most any other car probably all, but I have not got to drive a jag or lambo yet Hey jack I think the Ipod was a great purchase and it gives you the flexibility. I have satellite because fm radio has so many commercials. sometimes i lose that sat signal, like under the awning at the atm etc, etc. I just turn on the pod or play the cd it,s great having all the options. The xb is a pod to me anyways it's a "my-pod"  I have really set up my xb to be a cool pod, so enjoy evil jack and do it with tunes.
BTW what was your first tune you played???
I am dying to know... you waited so long that the first tune must have had a lot of significance. MY first gen2 song was either "powerman 5000'when worlds collide" or Nonpooint'bullit w/ a name on it" i can't remember now.

I am so glad that you are finally going to get rollin' w/ your new set of wheels.Waiting for something so exciting as gettin' an xb is hard. I didn't sleep well until mine was parked out in the yard. Even then I was out cruising around until 2 and 3 in the morning. I think the dealership should give you a freebie, like an extra service or something for waiting so long. Everybody is going to be anxious to see it so post some pics as soon as the wheels stop moving ha ha .
