Out of curiosity, I would like to know why the shorter shifter? I am know that sometimes they can be uncomfortable for people like me that are short, but have never done this. I would be very interested in doing something like this for comfort level.

I have seen that there are a lot of people wanting to mod this car. What are the best modifications for this vehicle and why would you want to mod a new car like this. What are the advantages?

I have heard that you can put smaller tires that are not the same profile on this vehicle. Is that true or do you think it would not be a wise idea. Please tell me why if you do not recommend it.

General Scion xB / 2nd Gen Scion xB Talk / Re: Dealer Plate

You know that many states are trying to pass law stating that two plates are no longer required. There are states that they are not required but do give you two plates. In one state I know (Utah) if the vehicle does not come with a place to put a front plate you are not required to have it on the car. In Kansas they only give you one plate.

General Scion xB / 2nd Gen Scion xB Talk / Re: Nice and new!

Well that is really exciting for you. I will not be able to get mine for another few months. You say you like the black and put gold pin stripes on it. I bet that is sharp looking. I have not decided on color yet, and most likely will not until I go to buy it.
Reading the owners manual is something everyone should do, but doesn't. Who has time, right? Well good luck with your new addition and hope you can understand how it all works.

I agree, safety is a number one priority because I have a child. Since the Scion is rated in the top 10 for safety, I am excited to say that I personally will be purchasing this vehicle. I also like the size and design of the vehicle as well. More room than a car, but not as big as your standard SUV.
