when your driving down the street and the guy,or gal, in front of you steps on the brake as they near the green light at the intersection ahead. And after the light has turned yellow they speed up, leaving you stuck at the red light.

As I am going to be 62 this August my two sons are grown men . They remembered their father today with an Ipod that I can load all my old geezer rock into, once they show me how,. It was a great fathers day spent with my two sons, my two grand sons and my wife who also chipped in for the Ipod. Life in scion land is good.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL YOU FATHERS OUT THERE.

I found some cool knobs at flame ball.com and there's a neat 8ball shift knob with 8mmx1.25 threads in it at brand sport.com. I bought an 8 ball at Pep boys but its kinda chinzy lookin' but it will do until I order one from either company.
By the way shancopp I watched your hubbys video. Very kool. Best of luck to you and your soldier. Tell him this old Viet Nam vet SALUTES HIM.

I've had my Xb for 1 month. It has 1400 mi. on the odometer. Yesterday I filled the tank then made a short errand around town and then went to my sons house, about 35 mi one way on the tollway. This morn I went bak to the gas station. the trip meter read 83.7mi. She took 2.7 gal of gas. This comes to 31 mpg. the computer was reading a little over 31mpg avg. Not bad. Not as good as my Honda Civic, but not bad.

I bought a 4x8x1/2in. sheet of supper tuff foam insolation at home depot for about 10 bucks. I put the rear seats down and moved the front pass. seat forward . I cut the sheet to fit from the front seats to as far back as I could get without interferring with the hatch. I pick the bike up and shove it in there. Works like a charm and protecs the iterior from scratches and any mud or grease.

By the way I've had this car since Fri 4-25 and I really love it.

Well I did it! Bought my gen2 Xb from Elmhurst Toyota Scion in Ill. Dealer gave me 1800 for my civic with a slipping trans. From what I gather this is a common problem with 01 2&3 civics and the fix is a 2G and up new trans. so I guess I did OK. As I pulled out of the dealer I couldn't get the head lights to come on so I pulled right back in to the serevice dept. Turns out some where along the line nobody put bulbs in the headlights. No big deal. So I've got my classic silver gen2Xb and I'm a pretty happy camper right now. Tomorrow I get to look at the manual and try to figure out where everything is and how it works. Good luck to all you new Scion owners out there.
