That is impressive. My first 1k was low mpg, but my BbCM has settled in on 28-30 in mixed driving. I think my computer is about 1-2 mpg too high. It said 33 mpg after a 320 mile trip at 50-65 mph and I still had about 1/8th of a tank left.

If you trade in a car you have insurance on already, you get a 1 week grace period to switch over your policy to the new car. My insurance was actually lower for xB than my 6 year old trade-in, I was pretty shocked.

400, wow. I was thinking of picking up a windshield brush (like they have in gas stations) for the summer season. Its not even bug season around here.
Remember that Yankees v. Cleveland Indians baseball playoff game last year with all those bugs? That is our bug season around great lakes. It is not uncommon for mayflies to swarm carlights such that you have to pull off the road.

Technical & Styling / Audio / Electronics / Re: stock speaker effeciency

I switched out the back speakers with 6.5 coaxials and it did not seem to help a whole lot. Stock rear speakers are 5.25" paper woofers with a smaller driver, and poorly located. It also seems like more power is sent to the front speakers (or something) on the stock radios.

Basic Stuff Bigger center console. Dedicated clock.
Dreamy Stuff More shaped, front end like some mods have done. Windshield extended further over the hood like the original bB concept car. Bumpers did not extend out so much. A bit more efficient use of interior space...I think you could squeeze another 5 ft3 open space by limiting the amount of plastic paneling.
Overall, not too much to complain about. Errr....this was a totally loaded question.
