I don't see the point.  Even if you west coasters do set a record, us east coasters are going to tear you apart August 3rd.  Muahahahahaha...

Hey moderator, as this is a NorthEast US thread, can you move the posts from people not in this region to the appropriate threads?  Thanks.
7  Technical & Styling / Audio / Electronics / Re: Rear speakers sound on: June 13, 2008, 01:06:41 AM
I had the same problem, the only way i resolved it, was to set it to Hear for the SSP. than after that change my treble to 3, bass 2 and i set the FAD to R-2 or 3. this will send more to theback of your car, equalizing it a bit more, sounds better in the back, sounds quite good in the front, and it really is pleasing to lsiten to, at least from my point of view, test it out if you want.

Did you read the 5th post?  Make sure you set the SSP Car type to xB... it comes set to tC from the factory which doesn't have the same rear speaker setup as us.

Great buy for $1699.

Shancopp.  Is this 52 inch lcd a rear projection model?

lcd and rear projection are two different things, although both are types of HDTV's.  1699 for a 52 inch LCD is a GREAT price assuming:

1080P resolution (don't be fooled - 1080i is NOT the same thing)
10000:1 or better native contrast ratio
at least 2 (preferably 3 or more) HDMI inputs
Fiber Optic Audio output (pretty much standard nowadays)

Sorry I just shouted "no plasma no plasma" earlier, I was on my way out the door and wanted to get my 2ยข in.  I've got a 42" LG LCD HDTV which I spent $1800 for a year ago.  It's an amazing set, but I wish I had waited the extra year to get a bigger one of same quality for a lower price.

It goes for around $200.  PM ScionScene and see what kind of deal he can get you on it.

14  General Scion xB / 2nd Gen Scion xB Talk / Re: Where do I get that wing? on: June 09, 2008, 10:07:07 PM
According to the enlarged view The parts do exist but are aftermarket and many that were on it void the warranty! I don't mean to step on Ross and I could be totally of the mark cause like he says the shots look digitally changed.  confused

If you transition from one shot to the next some of the shots are in the exact same position down to the very pixel.  Even the shadows cast, glare, everything.  And most of those pictures sport the 5-axis foglights of which to my knowledge only one set was ever made which was on the 5-axis xB.  Most - if not all - of those pictures featured are engineered.  The text at the bottom of the enlarged image is just a disclaimer so people don't think that what is shown is standard equipment that they can get from their dealer.  This is similar to when you see a magazine ad for a car that says $15,000 MSRP and in tiny tiny print at the bottom it says "price as shown $17,995."

The accessories shown such as rims and spoilers probably are based on real aftermarket accessories, but then again could be completely fictional. Either way those pictures are artist renderings of what you could make your xB look like and I think it would be really cool if you found a wing similar to that for your xB!
