Will do, also though I just found out today that TYC is producing some LED tail lights for the '08 that should currently be available.  Might pick up a pair of those instead.

I was planning on putting them in my tail lights.  They're just replacement bulbs.

I miss the LED tail lights I had in my '94 Hardbody, which got me into looking at Spiderlites for my xB.  Came across em in a tuner mag a while back.  They're not gonna look like your 1st gen, but they will set you apart among the 2nd gens.  Check em out:

260  Technical & Styling / Exterior Mods / Release Series Fog Lights on: December 05, 2007, 12:45:08 AM
Does anyone know where I can get ahold of pre-release release-series fog lights?  They're the ones pictured in some of the first pictures of the '08 xB.  When I order and install my billet grille, I want my lower and upper grilles to be the same length, which is made impossible if i use the current fog lights.

I'm looking for the fog lights seen under the headlights in this picture:

Not having free hands keeps me focused on DRIVING and not other-tasking.

...

And shifting is just plain fun!!
I agree with both.  I think driving a 5-speed makes me a more alert driver because I'm forced to pay attention to the road and what the vehicle is doing.  The xB is my first manual, which made it kinda embarrassing trying to get it off the dealer's lot, lol.  I test-drove the auto but wanted the stick.  After i had a buddy drive me over to a parking lot where i could spend some time with it, I caught on real quick.  From this point forward I will buy nothing but manuals.  Shifting just gives the driver so much more control over his vehicle.  Oh, and the '08 xB is a great vehicle to learn on.  It can take a a learner's punsihment.

I love my '08 toaster more than any car I've had to date, but i've got a few gripes:

-I'm also disappointed with having to switch between mpg/e-time/clock/avgmph.

-Maybe it's just me, but the fact that the odometer doesn't read tenths of a mile bugs me.  I keep mine switched to trip B permanently which shows the tenth of a mile since i havent reset it since i bought it.

-Arm rest is kinda cheap, but i don't use mine anyway.

-I think that the lcd in the gague cluster that shows what gear you're in with the automatic should be standard in the 5-speed as well.  You'd think it would be more important on the manual...

-I LOVE the black sand pearl color, but i've only had my xB for 4 months and i've already got all these diminutive little white chip marks at random places around the car.  It's nothing you'd notice unless you washed and waxed the car twice a week like me, but still despite its awesome metallic appearance the paint seems cheap from all the unexplained chips.

-Full size spare?

-Daytime running lights?

-Locking glove box or center console?

-Switch to turn off passenger seat belt warning?  If i put too much gear on the front seat the car wants me to buckle it up.

-Scion originally said that drivers would be able to change the illumination color of the stock radio in the 08+ scions.  What happened to that?  Changing the startup text is a cool feature though that i'm glad they included.

Don't get me wrong though guys, my xB is my most prized posession.  I wouldn't trade it for anything, save something i could sell to get an xB with some upgrades.  I just like to scrutinize anything I own.

Hey, been an '08 xB driver since July, hailing from Delaware.  Such a sweet ride.  Black sand pearl with some aesthetic improvements, but nothing performancewise yet.  Just found the site today.  Holla from the east coast!
