Yep, they're the same clear film pieces that I have added to the entire front of my car. www.xpel.com sells it, but it can be had cheaper also. Did you have that installed, or did you do it yourself? I had a place called ACAP films install it for me. I love the stuff. No chips yet, and It makes cleaning off bugs and whatnot an easy chore. I drive mostly on the freeway and frequently make long drive trips. CA -> Vegas SoCal -> NorCal By the time I'm done driving, all those bugs have dried and pretty much stuck to the car. You mentioned that this product makes cleaning them off an easy chore. How easy is it? Just windex and papertowel will do the trick? Also, how much did you pay for the film and the install?

I have an umbrella and a couple cd wallets there. Since the stock head unit reads MP3 cds, I rarely have to get into my cd wallet so I put it in the back. I should just put it in the storage though...
Blanket is a good idea. I'm going to get one for myself. I wonder if there's a Scion blanket.

Sam's here is $1.84 a gallon. Just remember, if we drive more because of lower gasoline prices, the other shoe will drop and they will have to raise prices because of the refining capacity shortage. They have us until we kick this oil habit we are on.
Maybe there's an earlier post of where you are but $1.84 @ Sam's Club... very nice and very jealous. I think the lowest I've seen around here (Ontario, CA) was at an Arco for $2.31/gallon for regular. I'm hoping to see it under $2 soon.

By the way, I hope nobody got offended. Nothing wrong with living in a small community. If I had a choice and I could survive financially, I'd definitely pick small communities over big cities.
I assumed living in smaller communities would create more waves when you see fellow xB drivers but I must be wrong...

I have the carbon fiber window trim. Maybe kind of hard to see it here. I think it was a dealer installed option. I went to buy the very very base model but the dealer had a strategy of selling me over-priced aftermarket rims. They had parked a same super white next to the one I was picking up. Rims, carbon fiber window trim... and I just couldn't resist paying $2,700 or something for $500 rims. I just had to do it... Anyways, I'll check my paperwork and see how much they charged me for the carbon fiber window trim. It seems like it may have been $299.00 http://www.internetautoguide.com/packages-options/09-int/2009/scion/xb/index.html

Sweet. Thanks Geezer. I even have the template paper (the one you fold and tear) for business cards. I'll keep some handy and next time I see the car, I'll put one on his front windshield, one on his driverside window, and one on his rear window. Do we get something for referrals? If so, I definitely need to put my handle on the card.

Wow... there must be many members here that are in small towns. I haven't really been to one so I don't really know what it's like... But when I got the Infiniti, when the coupe first came out, a few months later, it was like every other person had one... then the xB came, I was like what in the hell is that... then everybody started driving one so I had to have one which I don't regret at all. i wave to Gen 2 xBs, but have only seen two...count 'em, two since I bought the Silver Brick last May. Neither one responded. To some owners, the xB is just transportation.
sad, but true......... Hate it when I wave and get the finger back. Or maybe they thought I was just tailing them...
