How about a price guide to go along with that info? Maybe even web links as well? Now are these just springs or do they offer struts as well?

This comparison is for springs only. Updating prices and links would be a never ending task with the hundreds of companies that sell automotive parts online and the possibility of price fluctuations and sales. All I can say now is please support our sponsors, who have some of the best prices around. Smiley

I can understand fluctuating prices. I was think more like MSRP, also as for links I ment more like the manufacters site. I usually buy from different scorces but like to get the detailed info from the actual manufacter.

Okay, I added MSRPs, links to either the specific spring information or an application guide for the '08 xB, and added H&R springs info.

Hi guys,
This is my first post. I have read a bunch on here, but didn't feel a need to respond just yet. I just bought a 08 Xb and love it. However, I am considering my options as to what to do to the car. I came across this post and thought it was great.

Here is my question...how do I know which spring to go with? I don't plan on changing my wheels from the factory size. I do however think I would like front and rear sway bars and maybe a strut brace.

Any recommendations? Also, I live in the Daytona/Deland area and really have no idea where to go to get any of this done. Any ideas on where I can go?

Great site. Thanks

I can pretty much get any of these springs and parts. But for sways, the only available ones right now are the TRD and Hotchkis. I can get the Hotchkis, but not TRD, my discount isnt really worth me to get it unless the customer is local, same goes for the stb. As for springs, Im based in CA so it would shipping from here. Springs weigh quite a bit, so you would need to see how far you are away from me and if its worth it to pay the shipping, might be able to get it from your local store for cheaper without shipping.

Here is my question...how do I know which spring to go with?

Welcome to the site! Cheesy

I have the Tanabe DF210s & love 'em. They offer a great drop and I'm still very happy w/ the ride comfort. If you want to go lower, you'll have to wait for Teins or go w/ coilovers. I guess it also depends on if you want to do other suspension mods & want to match parts.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Mine is a Blackberry Crush color. Pretty cool looking.

As far as the drop, I don't want to give up much in the way of ride. And I am not too concerned about matched parts as far as the sway bars go. My biggest concern right now is finding someone loval that can do the work for me. I do not have the place or the time to do it. I could probably do it myself if I had a place and time. I did see some cold air intakes on ebay. Are they worth it? And what about those little chips that say they can you more mpg and hp? Do they really work? For $10, wouldn't everyone get it? I didn't mention it earlier, but this is only my 1st week with the car. I have been impressed so far.

Anyone in my local area on here?

Hey man nice to have you on here. I don't want to hinder your asking questions and such however this is the wrong thread for that. Introductions would be the best place for this type of thread and then we can direct you in the right direction from there to answer your quesions.

Dang those S-Tech specs are really nice, too bad the production model will not lower as much - like the Hotchkis ones and the Goldlines, the pre-production were always lower.
