FUJITA COLD AIR INTAKE, INSTALLED!
«

installing wasn't too bad seeing that i did it by my self, about 1 hr 30 mins, and i answered my own question when trying to find out if i needed to take off the bumper and yes you do. Taking off the bumper was pretty self explanatory and not difficult at all once you get down and look at how its held together. All screws are easily visible to take off bumper. Did it in like 7 mins solo. The result was awesome. The sound is deep and power is easily felt. The RPM's go up much much faster than before. Its sold on ebay -

I love it but does anyone know if it will void factory warranty? I hope not!

Good job on the install & thanks for posting pics
It does not automatically void your complete warranty. They'll need to prove that it caused whatever problem they're addressing.

I did mine myself... putting it back on was a little bit of running back and forth getting things lined up. I'd say if you can take it off by yourself, you should be able to get it back on. It's not heavy at all.

Like everything else held on the car, the bumper just snaps into place with clips. It still stays on even with all the bolts and screws taken off, which was super efficient. When held by the clips, on the sides of the bumper, simply pull out and they'll pop out. I have fog lights on the top grill which have wireing and I only had to unplug them while the grill and lamps stayed on the bumper when removed. Took me only like 8 mins. And another 8mins to put it back on. Its really not that bad. I was really careful about avoiding scratches. The bumper is super light too which was nice. Did that answer your question? Feel free to ask.

We were VERY familiar with it on vwvortex: Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act
Short of it: The dealer would have to prove that the mod you did directly caused the failure of part/system in question for them to deny warranty repair.

Will you have to removed the bumper each time you need to clean the filter? That is my biggest question regarding the cold air intake. Obviously it isn't in the most accessible place.
NVM: found another post on a different type of intake that says no. Sorry for the trouble, I'm new....

I'm looking at purchasing a cold air intake and I would the bang for the buck. I've spoken with a few car enthusiasts about the fujita cold air intake, and some have said that when the fujita gets hot it actually lowers the RPM's. Do you find that to be true?

When i Installed mycold air intake. i didn't have to take off my bumper
I have the TRD Intake and I just had to remove the plastic in the wheel well to install the filter portion.
