Well from past experience with the happy gas, it seems to be safer to run both a button and a throttle switch, if something doesn't work right while you on the juice, you just release the button without lifting off the throttle or haveing to reach for the arming switch.
Doing either one of the latter may result in a loss at the local grudge races...........
but if you must run just the throttle switch, is there any way to make a bracket to hold your switch so the pedal shaft under the dash will press it? I'll have to go out on the lot and look at the pedal setup to get a good idea of how to do it.
