I just recently invested in the TRD cold air intake and the sport muffler.  Will I have to remove the cold air intake to install the supercharger, or can I leave it in?  Also, since I have the cold air intake, is it possible to get a discount on the supercharger as a whole since its cost includes the air intake?  I just don't want to have to scrap the cold air intake just to add 40 hp.

If you remove the intake (and include all the necessary parts), I'm sure someone would take it off of you once you install the blower.

Unfortunately we can't get you a discount because the kit requires that you use the air intake from the kit itself.  We can't break up the kits anyway it all comes in one big box from TRD.  TRD designed the kit to function with their intake in the supercharger kit so I'd use only that unless your good at tuning and have the appropriate tuning software/tools.  But like others said there are a lot of people on here that would be more than willing to buy the CAI off of you.  Cheesy

HAHAHAHA

I just realized that the three of us . . .
Eviljack, WaveRider, and TartanJack all have rather similar, but variations of ideas for our cars.

Eviljack-> 1930s Gangster/gun runner

Wave Rider-> 1930s-50s woody used for "running" stuff to and from the waves.

Tartan Jack-> 30s-early 50s "stock" looking vehicle with high performance under the skin.

We are also interested in a lot of the same general parts, but want somewhat different looks from them.  (show, "cool" beach utility, and go)
All three want blowers, but want "deals" on them.
(I want one, but can't afford/justify one in the near term.  Heck, in a decade I have never been able to justify one (to my wife), despite a desire for one, for my Miata.  Thus, it remains normally aspirated with about every other small power-adder stuck on, a piece at a time.as was able to justify.)

Kinda funny . . .

One of these days, we need to get the resultant boxes together for a photo-op!

Yeah good point Tartan.

"One of these days, we need to get the resultant boxes together for a photo-op!"

I agree.

and I agree on the spending 4k for a S.C is hard to justify hence my begging for a discount lol.

So if I purchase and install this kit via my Toyota dealer, it won't have any negative impact on my Warranty?  I'd like to make sure there are no caveats to encounter with this add-on.  I'm thinking my xb2 is going to be my first 100,000 mile car and don't want to have any issues because of a performance bolt-on.

I bet this makes driving a lot more fun!  naughty

The charger is covered under warranty and will not negatively impact your cars warranty.  Just make sure you don't do things to change that fact like adding headers when the charger fine print says not to.
