I'm considering the Falken Ziex-912 tires (235/40ZR18) for my new 09 blackberry xb.
Anybody have any opinions on this model or Falken as a brand?

I was also thinking of the Nexen N7000 just to protect my rims a bit more but can't seem to find any reviews on Nexen tires.

Any help is appreciated.

i am not familiar with those tires, but i can recommend the Yokohama Avid H4s, V4s or W4s tire!  they handle great, are pretty quiet and are not too expensive.

check some of the reviews on those online...

I don't know about those either, but I've heard great things about the Falken 452s

I have experience with the ZE-512, and it was a phenomenal tire for the price. Consumer Reports comparo winner. The ZE-912 is the replacement, and should be even better. I've read that it's a couple lbs. heavier than the 512 because they've stiffened it up in the sidewall area (the original's only complaint). Buy them with confidence.

www.edgeracing.com sells Falkens relatively cheap.

Thanks for the all feedback so far. I read some good reviews on the older ZE-512 and the 912'S  so far.

Great tires.  I have them on my 92 Miata and couldn't be happier.  Will probably put them on the XB when the original Turanzas go.
